Give the gift of education.
When it comes to helping your student achieve their dreams, family and friends can make a lasting difference. Whether it’s celebrating a birthday, graduation or other special occasion, every contribution can help build a stronger path forward.
Instructions for Account Owners:
As an existing account owner, you’ll find everything you need by logging into your account and selecting “CollegeCounts GiftED” for simple, step-by-step instructions.
Instructions for family and friends:

Request a CollegeCounts GiftED evite from the account owner.

Receive the GiftED evite and:
- Contribute online directly from your bank account; or
- Print a personalized deposit slip to mail with your check to CollegeCounts.
Let them know you're supporting their education goals:
Print a special occasion card or certificate to let your recipient know you’ve made a contribution to their education.
Invite Contributors to Contribute By Mail
If your contributors are more comfortable with a paper form of giving, you can:

Print out a deposit coupon.

Add the account number and beneficiary name to the coupon.

Give or mail the deposit coupon to the potential contributor.
(Instructions for mailing contributions are indicated on the coupon.)
Give Online to a 529
Let the account owner know you want to contribute to their CollegeCounts Direct account by requesting an evite using this form. The “occasion” you choose will be reflected in the email message the account owner receives from you. After you submit the form, the account owner will receive an email letting them know you would like to receive an evite to make a contribution.

Send a check to CollegeCounts Direct
With information you receive directly from the 529 account owner, you can contribute to a child’s 529 account via mail.

Request the 529 account number directly from the account holder.

Print out deposit coupon.

Mail the completed coupon to the address indicated on the coupon.

Download or order an appropriate greeting card to send to the account holder or beneficiary.
